Getting roadside assistance

Roadside assistance is a service that covers your car in certain emergencies, up to 3 times per rolling 6-month policy period per vehicle. If you have roadside assistance on your policy and experience a qualified emergency, Clearcover's roadside assistance partner, Nation Safe Drivers (NSD), will tow your disabled vehicle to the nearest, qualified repair facility. Roadside assistance covers you in the following emergency situations:

  • mechanical or electrical breakdown
  • battery failure
  • insufficient supply of fuel, oil, water, or other fluid
  • flat tire
  • lock-out
  • entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 10 feet of a road or highway

To request roadside assistance using the Clearcover app, tap Roadside Assistance and follow the instructions. NSD's technology provides you with instant alerts, real-time ETAs, and GPS-driven location data that allows you to track the service provider while they are en route to assist you.

If you don't have the Clearcover app, you can call us at (855) 444-1875 and press menu option 3 to request roadside assistance. NSD is available to help you every hour, every day of the year.

If you have roadside assistance and prefer to use a company outside of our network, Clearcover will reimburse up to $50 per disablement. You can submit the receipt and your policy number to claims@clearcover.com.

To add roadside assistance to your policy, contact one of our Customer Advocates through the Clearcover app or by calling 855-444-1875. Your roadside assistance coverage will begin the day after you add it.
