What does roadside assistance cover?

Roadside assistance is a service that covers your car in certain emergencies, up to 3 times per rolling 6-month policy period per vehicle.

If you have roadside assistance on your policy and experience a qualified emergency, Clearcover's roadside assistance partner, Nation Safe Drivers (NSD), will tow your disabled vehicle to the nearest, qualified repair facility.

Roadside assistance covers you in the following emergencies:

  • mechanical or electrical breakdown
  • battery failure
  • insufficient supply of fuel, oil, water, or other fluid
  • flat tire
  • lock-out
  • entrapment in snow, mud, water, or sand within 10 feet of a road or highway

Note that roadside coverage on one vehicle will not transfer to rentals, non-owned vehicles, or other vehicles on a policy.

If you have roadside assistance and prefer to use a company outside of our network, Clearcover will only reimburse up to $50 per disablement. You can submit the receipt and your policy number to claims@clearcover.com.
