If you have Georgia policy and have a student driver under 25 on your policy, you may be eligible for a Good Student Discount. This discount rewards full-time students who excel in school with lower car insurance rates.
Who’s Eligible?
To qualify for the Good Student Discount, a driver must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be under 25 years old
- Be single
- Be enrolled full-time in one of the following:
- High school
- College or university
- Vocational or technical school
- Maintain good academic standing, shown by any one of the following:
- B average or higher (3.0 GPA or above)
- Upper 20% of the class
- On the Dean’s List or Honor Roll
Note: A driver is not eligible if they’ve had an at-fault accident or a major traffic violation in the last 3 years.
How to Get the Discount
If a driver on your policy meets the requirements, we’ll ask for proof. Acceptable Proof Includes:
- Report card
- School transcript
- Letter from a school administrator
- Dean’s List or Honor Roll certificate
