Edit Coverages in the Clearcover Mobile App

You can manage many vehicle-specific coverages right in the Clearcover mobile app. Certain important coverages that apply to your entire policy — including Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Medical Payments/PIP, and UM/UIM Bodily Injury — must be changed by a Customer Advocate.

Coverages You Can Edit in the App

These apply to an individual vehicle and can be updated in the mobile app:

  • Add Comprehensive
  • Add Collision
  • Change Deductible selections for Comprehensive / Collision
Lets you change the amount you pay out-of-pocket before insurance pays on a covered comprehensive or collision claim.
  • Rental Reimbursement/Alternate Transportation
  • Roadside Assistance

How to change vehicle-level coverages in the app

  1. Open the Clearcover app.
  2. Tap Policy.
  3. Tap Coverages, then Edit Coverages.
  4. Select an effective date.
  5. Update limits, options, or deductibles and follow the prompts to confirm.
  6. You’ll see any premium change before you finalize.
  7. Accept changes.

Coverage Updates That Require a Customer Advocate

The following coverages require a Customer Advocate to change:

  • Bodily Injury (BI) Liability
  • Property Damage (PD) Liability
  • Medical Payments
  • Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
  • Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist — Bodily Injury (UM/UIM BI)

A Customer Advocate will confirm eligibility and any premium change, then complete the update for you.
