You can manage many vehicle-specific coverages right in the Clearcover mobile app. Certain important coverages that apply to your entire policy — including Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Medical Payments/PIP, and UM/UIM Bodily Injury — must be changed by a Customer Advocate.
Coverages You Can Edit in the App
These apply to an individual vehicle and can be updated in the mobile app:
- Add Comprehensive
- Add Collision
- Change Deductible selections for Comprehensive / Collision
Lets you change the amount you pay out-of-pocket before insurance pays on a covered comprehensive or collision claim. - Rental Reimbursement/Alternate Transportation
- Roadside Assistance
How to change vehicle-level coverages in the app
- Open the Clearcover app.
- Tap Policy.
- Tap Coverages, then Edit Coverages.
- Select an effective date.
- Update limits, options, or deductibles and follow the prompts to confirm.
- You’ll see any premium change before you finalize.
- Accept changes.
Coverage Updates That Require a Customer Advocate
The following coverages require a Customer Advocate to change:
- Bodily Injury (BI) Liability
- Property Damage (PD) Liability
- Medical Payments
- Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
- Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist — Bodily Injury (UM/UIM BI)
A Customer Advocate will confirm eligibility and any premium change, then complete the update for you.
