Canceling a policy in the agent portal

As an agent, you can cancel a customer's policy in the Clearcover agent portal quickly and easily.


Follow the instructions below to learn how to cancel a policy. 

  1. In the portal, search for the policy and click View.
  2. While on the policy in the portal, select "Cancel Policy" on the left-hand side.

 



 

3. Provide the cancellation reason and effective date. You can only choose same-day or future effective dates for cancelation.

Canceling a Renewal 


If a renewal term is available and you want the policy to be canceled at the end of the current term,  choose the option "Last day of Policy".
