Coverages & Limits:

Bodily Injury Liability

Coverage that pays for the other party's injuries sustained during a car accident in which the covered driver is found to be at fault. 

  • State Minimum Limits: 25k/50k
  • Clearcover Minimum Limits: 25k/50k
  • Clearcover Maximum Limits: 500k/500k

 

Property Damage Liability

Coverage that pays for damage to the other party's car that was sustained during an accident in which the covered driver is found to be at fault.

  • Clearcover Minimum Limits: 500k
  • Clearcover Maximum Limits: 500k 

 

Collision Coverage

Coverage that helps pay to repair/replace a vehicle if damaged in a covered incident with another vehicle or object (fence, guardrail, tree, or a single-vehicle incident that involves rolling or falling over). Required for vehicles that are leased or financed. An out-of-pocket deductible applies.

  • Lowest Deductible Option: $50
  • Highest Deductible Option:  $2500

 

Comprehensive Coverage 

Coverage that helps pay to repair or replace a vehicle if it’s stolen or damaged in a covered incident (other than collision). Covered incidents include things like theft, fire, vandalism, or damage resulting from falling objects (like a tree or hail), or hitting an animal. Required for vehicles that are leased or financed. An out-of-pocket deductible applies. 

  • Lowest Deductible Option: $50
  • Highest Deductible Option: $2500

Glass repair is typically covered under comprehensive coverage. In most cases, no deductible applies if the glass can be repaired. If it must be replaced, then the comprehensive deductible (if selected) must be met before the insurance benefits can be applied. Alternate Transportation (AT)

Reimbursement-based coverage for transportation fees if a covered vehicle is unusable due to a covered incident. Coverage provides a daily transportation stipend that can be used on the method of transportation the insured desires (carpool, public transportation, rideshare, or rental car).

  • Coverage Minimum/Maximum Limits: $30 Day/$900 Max - $50 Day/$1500 Max

Medical Payments

Coverage that helps pay for the medical or funeral expenses of covered drivers or passengers after an accident regardless of fault.

Roadside Assistance 

Coverage that helps pay for the cost of towing or roadside service resulting from a mechanical or electrical breakdown. Covered incidents include things like battery failure, flat tires, getting locked out, or running out of gas.

 

Under/Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury

Coverage that pays for costs associated with injuries to the not-at-fault party & their passengers in the event of an incident caused by a driver with no insurance or not enough insurance.

Uninsured Motorist Property Damage

Coverage that pays for costs associated with damage to the not-at-fault party's vehicle after an incident caused by an uninsured driver. An out-of-pocket deductible applies.

Underinsured Motorist Add-On/Reduced By Coverage (Added On UM)

Coverage that allows stacking the underinsured motorist policy limits on top of the other driver’s insurance limits if necessary. If this is not selected, the insured’s underinsured motorist coverage is reduced by the policy limits of the other driver.

Coverage available to vehicles that are 9 yrs old or younger. Comprehensive/Collision coverages are extended to repair/replacement of damaged property with new original equipment manufacturer parts, if available. Comprehensive/Collision coverages required for OEM.

Business Use

Vehicle usage option that allows a covered vehicle to be utilized for work purposes that meet the acceptable business use criteria per Clearcover's underwriting guidelines. Please see the Georgia State Underwriting Guidelines to determine business use eligibility.

 

Rideshare (Period 1 Coverage Only)

Endorsement that offers coverage during period 1 driving for rideshare companies such as Uber or Lyft (not delivery of goods - UberEats/Doordash).
